Accelerator
A comp-plan multiplier that pays a higher commission rate on bookings above quota.

Typical: 1x rate to 100% quota, 1.5–2x from 100–150%, 2–3x above. Accelerators exist to prevent sandbagging and to make big-quarter reps rich, keeping them at the company.
